General Overseers Speech

SPEECH DELIVERED BY PASTOR BOLA ANYAWUN,  THE GENERAL OVERSEER OF CHRIST LOVE EVANGELICAL ASSEMBLY ON THE OCCASION OF THE THIRD ANNIVERSARY OF CHRIST LOVE EVANGELICAL ASSEMBLY HELD SUNDAY 26^TH DECEMBER 2019 AT THE CHURCH AUDITORIUM IN REGGIO-EMILIA ITALY

All protocols observed

I greet and celebrate all our special guests, friends and well wishers present here today ,

I want us all, the celebrants present here today:  children in the Children Department, youths in the Youth Department,  women in the Women Department, men in the Men’s Department, ushers in the Ushering Department, choiristers in the Choir Department , evangelicals in the Evangelism Department ,  media men and women in the Media Department, workers in the Tranport Department and every member of Christ Love Evangelical Assembly, stand up on your feet like the mighty victorious army you are;  shout three thundrous halleluyah ….and one long G L O R Y .

Who will believe our report that we are just three years old? When I look back, I can boldly say there is an Almighty God in : 1 Sam 2:8 NKJV

He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the beggar from the ash heap, To set them among princes and make them inherit the throne of glory. He was known as God of Hannah in Shiloh but we have abounding proofs, clouds of witnesses aroud us, that HE IS OUR GOD IN CHRIST LOVE EVANGELICAL  ASSEMBLY, REGGIO-EMILIA. ..Shout a triumphant Halleluyah.

There is a God of David who turned everyone who was in distress, everyone who was in debt, and everyone who was discontented  who gathered around  David  about four hundred men to giant slayers,  mighty men of renown recorded in 2Samuel 23. That same God of David has become the God of CLEA Reggio-Emilia , HE is turning ordinary men and women to mighty people in foreign nations.

Beloved of God, the church was founded November 2016; the church is exactly 3 years and 25 days today . Ladies and gentlemen , children of God, the challenge was enormous at the beginning. Somebody very close to me said a church cannot be built and established with the kind of  people around . “What can you do with the  “larpardoza” around you, the person said.  They challeged your GOD in the days of little beginning . Can anything good come out of Nazareth ?

Something great and good came out of Nazareth, Jesus came out of Nazareth . Ladies and gentlemen, mighty men and women are being raised from the altar of Christ Love Evangelical Assembly …for families, nations, organizations and the church. Shout a thunderous HALLELUYAH  and GLORY TO GOD. It is all about the ALMIGHTY GOD we are serving.

The LORD GOD gave me a mandate that has underlined the operations of the Holy Spirit in our Great Commission. The mandate is in Isaiah 42:6. We will together refresh ourselves with the mandate as you read together with me Isaiah 42: 6 – 10. "I, the Lord, have called You in righteousness, And will hold Your hand; I will keep You and give You as a covenant to the people, As a light to the Gentiles, To open blind eyes, To bring out prisoners from the prison, Those who sit in darkness from the prison house. I am the Lord, that is My name; And My glory I will not give to another, Nor My praise to carved images.

Behold, the former things have come to pass, And new things I declare; Before they spring forth I tell you of them." Praise to the Lord

Sing to the Lord a new song, And His praise from the ends of the earth, You who go down to the sea, and all that is in it. You coast lands and you inhabitants of them!

(Isa 42:6-10 NKJV)

With this mandate, I see the LORD working mightily among us with the Spirit of faith, the Spirit of Revelation,  Prophecy and the working of miracles,  the Spirit of love, the Spirit of humility, the Spirit of holiness, the giving spirit also known as the Spirit of prosperity, the Spirit of commitment and discipline, the Spirit of endurance and unity. With the gifts and  Spirit of the LORD, we have become an army of the LORD , mighty and precious in His sight. I love you all.

COMMITMENT OF MEMBERS

The greatest available asset and resources we have at Christ LOVE Evangelical Assembly, Reggio Emilia  are the people . Men, women, my sons and daughters who have become mighty men and women of great faith. You  have committed your  lives, time and resources to serve the LORD GOD of Israel and our Redeemer, Jesus Christ in this great Commission. I appreciate you all. May you not lose your reward here on earth and in eternity in the kingdom of heaven.

Everyone working directly with me in the secretariat, departmental heads and assistants, every faithful member I appreciate your imense contributions  greatly.

ACHIEVEMENTS

Most of you are aware I was a co-founder of a defunct ministry for over ten years in this same city . I am glad to note that what we have achieved in CLEA even in the first year, has by far outweighed, overtaken and surpassed all that was achieved in that former ministry ten times in their ten years . This is not to ridicule them but to greatly appreciate the good hand of the LORD and HIS presence among us. Clap and celebrate. Jesus. Praise The Lord!

Let us count some of our blessing to appreciate how we have been tremendously helped by God in the past three years:.

REGISTRATION : While the first ministry was not registered in over ten years in Europe . To GOD be the glory, Christ Love Evangelical Assembly was registered in Europe within the first year of inaugurating the commission. This is the hand of God

Registration With Non Govermental Agencies – I am glad to note that we are registered not only with Government Agencies but also with Non-Governmental Agencies in Italy; they have been instrument of grace, favor and honor for members of our church.

We now have an understanding to organize bible study with the Catholic church members in the community.

We have also been assigned as a registered church, to organize and coordinate other Pentecostal and Charismatic churches in the neighborhood so that there can be a common voice.

BANK ACCOUNT: We are not just registered, we are a legal body, an organization with an operational bank account in Europe . Celebrate Jesus .

COOPERATIVE SOCIETY : That our church is purpose driven and an achievement motivating organization can be seen in the establishment of our cooperative society known as CHRIST LOVE ASSEMBLY COOPERATIVE SOCIETY. The Church is really marching on and the gates of help shall not prevail .

PASTOR’S WELFARE : I am glad to note God had put it in the heart of men and women to take care of me as the angel of the church. I am talking about paying my house rent and provisions for the mission house.

I must here also recognize the support from sons and daughters outside Italy, especially Canada, where they ensure there is not only supply of provisions in the house of God but abundant supplies that will make the work of the ministry easy.

TRANSPORTATION: I am glad to note we have been able to acquire an additional vehicle for the church through your share commitment and determination .

I am also glad to note that by your commitment, determination and good purpose you have decided to bless your senior pastor and general overseer with the gift of a car. As God is using you to lift me up, may the Most High God continually lift you up, I prophesy to you, your life and family shall never be relegated . Every power trying to pull you down or stagnate your life shall be destroyed suddenly for your sake.

CHURCH RENT. The rent was increased suddenly from E300 to E600. It was like big burden upon the church. I wanted to protest but you people rose up to the challenge. We have been paying E500 every month and we are debt free. I am looking forward to a time, not too far away when God will give us our own property. Let us celebrate the King of Kings

DEPARTMENTAL ADVANCEMENT : I celebrate every leader and assisstants of every department of the church for your unquantifiable support that resulted in the growth and development of the church – prayer and fasting, leading, directing and coordinating the activities of your departments creditably – you are the reason we are celebrating today . God that made you a Pillar will not make you a caterpillar that will destroy the church.

Leaders and assistants in the Children department, Evangelism department,Youth department, Transport and logistics department, Media department, Women department, Welfare and Helps departmet , the Choir as well as the Men’s department , I love you all. The good LORD will honor and celebrate you.

The year 2019 was particularly challenging for us all especially with the disbandment of the choir department. It was a painful but unavoidable exercise because of the heavenly mandate of righteousness handed down to us.  We all passed through the refiner fire together . everyone stayed as faithful disciples and we are now stronger and better for it.

The Media department is really making us globally relevant. Our global viewership is increasing. I will still encourage everyone here to encourage family and friends to subcribe to our facebook and Youtube channels.

I must note that the Youth department produced our 2019 calendar and they are already working on the 2020 edition.

EXTRA CURRICULA ACTIVITIES :  We have a standing football team that has been in competition. We are proud of our boys. Our cultural values are noteworthy . You are also aware we have enjoyed some coverage by Italian mass media, that is television and news media. Our “Rainbow On Africa” program is still a reference point. We have also had a couple of invitations to exhibit our cultural heritage. I must say we are doing quite well.

I must note the activities of some specific individuals, frontliners and foot-soldiers running with the vision of this commission.  They have been  initiating great new things, they are from various departments but they have been raised by GOD as the Zerubbabel of this ministry. Even though I will not mention you by name, you know yourself and God knows you. I want to use this occasion to prophesy into your life as the LORD  also prophesied to Zerubbabel in his generation( Zech 4:6-7 NKJV )

"This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel:                                                                                                  (and I also declare to you… you shall excel and succeed ….)                                                                                                'Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,'                                                                                                           Says the Lord of hosts.

'Who are you, O great mountain?                                                                                                           Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain!                                                                                            And he shall bring forth the capstone                                                                                                   With shouts of "Grace, grace to it!"'"

Henceforth, everything you lay your hands upon shall succeed . Failure shall be far from you. Soon and very soon you you hear a good news that will be resounding in the years to come.

CLOSING : The LORD has revealed that 2020 shall be our year of rejoicing. Every instrument and ingredients  you need physically and spiritualy to prepare for rejoicing GOD shall deliver to you with our celebrations today .

Happy Third Anniversary celebrations. None shall be missing, all of us shall be greater, bigger and better in 2020. Once again. Happy Celebrations .
